Calgarypuck.com Poll - Winds of Change: Calgary hockey fans expect change this summer. Almost 50% of those polled chose a major trade as the type of change expected from Craig Button this summer. The Flames have missed the playoffs five straight seasons so change is likely in order. General Manager Craig Button will be coming up on his one year anniversary since taking over the team prior to last year's draft and should have a better handle on what changes he'd like to orchestrate. Twenty percent expect a youth movement as the direction the club will take. Seventeen percent expect little to change for next year's camp, with only minor tinkering. No change at all, and UFA signings each received only six percent of the popular vote.
