Calgarypuck.com Poll - Good Riddance:

A couple of weeks ago, Calgarypuck.com readers were asked to select which Flame would least likely be back in training camp in the fall of 2001.

Almost half of those polled, or 48% of pollsters, picked the Flames explosive though disruptive Val Bure as the man with the worst chance of wearing the Flaming C next season. Bure had a lot to do with Don Hay's firing last season, but still didn't get along well with his replacement Greg Gilbert, getting benched by both coaches.

Igor Kravchuk finished second in the poll with 36%. Kravchuk was claimed off of waivers in November in the midst of the Derek Morris contract stand off. Initially Kravchuk played some quality minutes in Calgary, playing a role in the December resurgence of the club. His play slipped down the stretch however, and most fans feel his contract is too high to bring him back.

Mike Vernon and Jeff Shantz both received six percent of the vote, while Phil Housley picked up 3%.
