Calgarypuck Standings

There are numerous examples of disparity in a NHL schedule. Teams have played a different number of games. Some teams have played significantly more games at home than on the road.

Calgarypuck.com tries to eliminate these disparities in introducing the Calgarypuck.com Western Conference Standings.

The standings are projected to season's close, by applying the current winning percentage at home and on the road over the entire schedule. If the Flames have a .670 winning percentage at home, and have played five less home games than an opponent, it stands to reason they would project better than a simple overall analysis.
